Paris Olympic:2024 Olympic Games, quadrennial athletic festival is often regarded as the world's foremost sports competition. It is the best show on Earth. The Olympic Games were held for the first time in Athens in Greece in 1896. It was initiated to bring out the athletic talents of people as well as to promote world peace and show that 'unity is strength' by bringing together athletes from different countries. Paris Olympic 2024 was  held in France from 26 July to 11 August 2024. Around 10500 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees participated in this competition. Both China and United States were tied at the medal table in terms of gold medals, with each getting 40. The United States topped the overall medals table with 126 medals to China's 91 and Great Britain in third with 65. WHAT IS A CONDITIONAL SENTENCE? Conditional sentences have two parts or clauses that give a condition in the dependent clause and a result in the independent clause. The condition clause usually contains an 'if' statement. There are several different forms of conditional sentences that allow the writer to express various meanings using different tenses. • Condition (if) clause + result clause ZERO CONDITIONAL The zero conditional uses the present tense in both clauses and is used to talk about something that is always or generally true. The present tense signifies that these actions are both possible and typical. Form: If + simple present, simple present Example 1: If it rains, I never go out of my room.
