Good vs Well

Good" is used as an adjective to describe a noun, while "well" is used as an adverb to describe a verb; essentially, you say something is "good" and you do something "well.". 
Example sentences:
"She is a good student." (Describing the noun "student")
"She studies well." (Describing the verb "studies") 
Key points to remember:
"Good" modifies nouns: "The food tasted good."
"Well" modifies verbs: "He played the piano well." 
Exception: When talking about health, "well" can be used as an adjective to describe someone's state. "He is not feeling well..
